Wade College - Student Showcase

Last week my school Wade College put on a wonderful student showcase featuring the hard work shown through our fashion design students. We have some serious talent at our school and it's very apparent on the runway. I took some shots of the show to share with everyone, so enjoy the works of my fellow classmates!

But first, here's what I wore to the event:

I wanted to go for an early 50's inspired outfit with vintage accessories. Below is a pair of earrings from the 40's made in West Germany, given to me by my boyfriend.

Here is a great find from a Salvation Army that I paid $12.00 for: vintage Celine heels. If you didn't already know, Celine (created by Celine Vipiana) was originally built on making children's shoes in the mid to late 40's. Only until the 50's did they start making leather accessories, then in the 60's began designing clothing.

It only made sense to pair some seamed stockings with this look.

Here is a shot from the top of my school's building. It's really nice to go to school in a building with so much natural light.

Let the show begin! Here are some of my favorite looks that I was able to capture.

Overall it was a beautiful show with some incredible pieces by our designers. Thank you to everyone that helped put the show together. I can't wait for the next one! To see more photos of the show by Price Oglive, check out Wade College on Facebook and be sure to click like!
